MEFGL Successes to start 2020!

In a string of good news recently, we would like to congratulate Dr. Georgina Brennan on successfully acquiring a Marie Curie Skłodowska COFUND Fellowship to work with Ramiro Logares, University of Barcelona. After Georgina’s success working on the NERC PollerGEN project, Georgina is currently developing eDNA assessments for Baltic Sea diversity in The University of Lund, Sweden.

January also saw the award of 3 NERC NBAF pump-priming grants to Andy Foote, Wolfgang Wüster (with PI Axel Barlow Nottingham Trent Uni) and Abdullah and Si. Andy was also successful last year, along with James Doonan (currently In Copenhagen University) and Luke Hilary. Great work to all!
